Small canvases, framing the vastness of landscape, become windows to a moment in time steeped in personal history. Empty spaces within these compositions are not voids, but rather resonant chambers that amplify nostalgic sentiments. The strokes of the brush aim to create a palpable sense of breeze and wind, carrying echoes from distant times, breaking through the silence of the white surface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">My process involves introspection and a focus on capturing the atmosphere of a moment rather than strict representation. I &#8220;recollect&#8221; experiences, transforming them to reveal new layers of meaning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">While the essence of these experiences may require careful attention to fully appreciate, my use of soft focus aims for impactful communication. These paintings attempt to capture a fleeting instant, and the underlying intensity of everyday moments and transient spaces. This quietness invites contemplation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">A gentle, melancholic quality often characterizes these canvases, suggesting the quiet passage of time and memory. The subdued landscapes, often under soft skies, represent felt experiences rather than literal depictions. The interplay of muted light and shadow creates an in-between space.
